A ‘Student Promotion and Support Unit’ has been established at the Student-Teacher Center of Dhaka University to offer various part-time working opportunities for students aimed at letting students gain real life working experience and increase their efficiency.

Along with part-time working opportunities for financially needy students, the unit will also provide different types of job-oriented training, said a press release.

This unit was established as part of the special measures taken by the university to make students employable at national and international level as well as to let students contribute in achieving various development targets.

Professor Dr Md Rezaul Kabir of DU Institute of Business Administration has been appointed today as the advisor of the unit, added the release.

The unit will play a role in making the students skilled, experienced and confident human resources in the competitive market through connecting them with industry and providing necessary training, read the release.

In this regard, the concerned parties have been requested to provide necessary support to the students.
